
How Tally's Wellness Journey Began
Tally was always moving. Hiking, swimming, biking, cliff jumping, rafting, you name it, she was up for it. After an injury, her body betrayed her. It was hard to move, and she was in constant pain. Hurdle after hurdle in the treatment process with so many mind-blowing opinions, a beautiful friend lovingly said to her, “get the f&*^# to yoga.” And she did…Not only did she regain her strength and stability, Tally was moving the way she remembered, with ease. The drama that every human accumulates was oddly easier to wade through. She learned not to attach to it; her new outlook was about living fully.

Tally's Journey of Learning
Tally embarked on a journey of learning all she could to share how yoga has taught her NOT to breathe like a bulldog, meditate without grinding her teeth, and thank the universe every day that she can still get up and move. Once Tally understood that our primal bodies need to balance our physical and energetic bodies and the tools required to do so, she wanted to share this knowledge with everyone she met. Welcome to Calm.Unity
In the summer of 2022, Tally shifted her focus from just yoga to a more holistic view of wellness where the physical and energetic bodies are calm and united. This newer perspective and significant changes in her personal life led Tally to create a new company, Calm Unity. At Calm Unity, our classes focus on healing both the physical and energetic bodies. No acrobatics. Just functional, deep healing, sometimes tear-stained, anger-inducing postures that remind us of how beautifully human we are.
