The Hips Have It! A Yoga Workshop for Hip Mobility, Pain Relief & Deep Release
Our hips support us through every step, every movement, and every burst of joy. They’re the foundation of strength, stability, and even creativity. But when the hips become tight, stiff, or “grumpy,” everyday life can feel painful and difficult to navigate. The Hips Have It! workshop is designed to help you release tension, reduce discomfort, and restore freedom of movement.
Why Hip Mobility Matters
Most of us spend 8–12 hours a day sitting, depending on our work and lifestyle. Over time, these repetitive patterns can create stiffness, inflammation, and reduced space in the hip joints. When the hips lose mobility, it affects how we move, how we feel, and how we show up in our lives.
This workshop focuses on creating spaciousness and ease in this vital centre of the body.
What You’ll Experience in This Hip‑Focused Workshop
Using a blend of yoga, block therapy, breathwork, and guided meditation, we’ll work with the deep tissues and supporting structures of the hips to:
- Release long‑held tension
- Improve mobility and circulation
- Reduce hip discomfort and stiffness
- Support healthier movement patterns
- Restore a sense of grounding and ease
What to Bring
Wooden blocks will be provided if you don’t have one. To enhance your comfort, please bring:
- A bolster
- A blanket
- An eye pillow
These props help you settle deeply into the practice and get the most from your experience.
