Face It! A Yoga Workshop for Facial Tension Release, Lymphatic Flow & Deep Relaxation
How do we truly put our best face forward? Our face is the first thing the world sees — a canvas that reflects our love, softness, humour, anger, sorrow, and everything in between. Long before we speak, our faces tell our stories. Face It! is a specialized yoga class designed to release tension and restore balance in the face, head, and neck.
Why the Face, Head & Neck Hold So Much Tension
As the uppermost part of the body, the face, head, and neck often become the “end point” for accumulated stress. With more than 300 muscles from the neck upward, these tissues support us through our deepest emotions and biggest triumphs. Over time, tightness, strain, and fine lines can appear — gentle reminders that our bodies are always working for us. This workshop offers them the care they deserve.
Boost Your Natural Glow Through Lymphatic Support
The lymphatic system in the face plays a major role in maintaining healthy, vibrant skin. When lymph flows freely, it delivers nutrients, removes stagnation, and creates that natural rosy glow we all love. In this workshop, we’ll use yoga, fascial massage, and mindful movement to support lymphatic drainage and leave you feeling refreshed, lifted, and radiant.
What to Bring to the Workshop
To make the most of your practice, please bring:
- Two facecloths
- A wooden block (one will be provided if you don’t have one)
- Optional props for comfort: a bolster, blanket, and eye pillow
These items will help you settle in, soften deeply, and fully enjoy the restorative experience.
